Engineering Education
and Production.
Mission is to provide young people with a practical environment for learning, designing, and creating Armenian technological products.
Umbrella X Lab
The expansion of Umbrella X Lab will allow us to engage at least 30 students annually from Gyumri and nearby communities, helping them develop practical skills in technology and engineering.
The project will create a complete education → production → market pipeline, where students not only learn, but also build real devices—robots, drones—and explore Web3 technologies. These devices will serve as prototypes for local production, while the most promising projects will gain potential for further development and export, bringing Armenian technological products to the global market.

Transforming Ideas into Real Technology
At Umbrella X Lab, every project begins with curiosity and hands-on experimentation. Guided by mentorship and practical learning, we transform student ideas into functioning prototypes and innovative solutions.
-
step 1
Discovery & Learning
Identify student interests, technological goals, and project challenges. Through workshops and brainstorming sessions, students explore concepts, research components, and define the scope of their prototypes.
-
step 2
Planning & Mentorship
Craft a clear development plan for each project. Assign mentors, define timelines, select materials and technologies, and ensure every participant understands their role in creating functional solutions.
-
step 3
Design & Prototyping
Turn ideas into working models. Students design circuits, 3D components, robotics mechanisms, or IoT systems, iteratively testing and refining each element with guidance from experienced engineers.
-
step 4
Production & Showcase
Assemble and test final prototypes. Students present their devices to peers, partners, and the community, documenting results and preparing promising projects for potential production or further development.
While we are at an early stage, our work is already gaining attention through community engagement, partnerships, and public demonstrations of student-built technologies.
